This was not an easy topic since we have had approximately 1 week of winter so far this season. Trying to capture an awesome snowstorm shot or frozen puddle of water just wasn't in the mix for this challenge. An iceskating scene will have to do.
This picture is cheating, but I do want to include it since it is most definitely a winter shot. I'm cheating because I didn't take it last week and I am trying to only use pictures I took the week of the challenge. Too bad. This is a beautiful family and a beautiful scene, and so I'm posting it. Don't be alarmed if you think this is my husband with some other woman and children. It's just his twin brother. Love these guys!
Here is the original. I spent about one minute editing it. I could do a lot more to make it really great, like if I added more blue to the sky, that would be better, but this is all I'll do for now.
