Here is my eagle picture of the year. He wasn't cooperating like the one last year. That's okay with me though. I understand. Sometimes I like keeping a low profile. I don't know why I am so fascinated when these birds come into my neck of the woods so much. It's not just that they symbolize this great country that I live in or the fact that their wingspan is ginormous, or that they are super cool looking. I think it's because they are so rare. I tend to gravitate to the things that are precious and unique. When this big guy showed up, my neighbor called to inform me, knowing me well enough that I would drop everything to capture this moment.
