National Peanut Butter Lover's Day

March 1st is Happy National Peanut Butter Lover's Day.  What better way to celebrate it than  honoring Thomas, who is most definitely the King of PB!  I have included these snapshots of him at probably his most favorite part of the day: after school, snack time.

He eats it on left over crepes (even overcooked ones, as the photo above reveals), waffles, tortillas, pancakes, bananas, saltines, pretzels, and toast.  He never eats it with jelly; only honey, Nutella, sugar, and Ovaltine.
He goes through these small jars in about a week.
I don't know what I would feed this kid if it weren't for peanut butter.

Wow, that is a lot of peanut butter for one kid! He must love it. I'm a huge fan myself. I just jotted down a recipe I saw on the internet to make Meteorites, which are little Corn Flakes balls similar to Rice Krispy Treats, but they have peanut butter in them. Thomas looks like he takes spreading his PB very seriously.

Thomas has great taste in peanut butter...chunky! In my book it's the ONLY way to eat peanut butter!

And that crepe looks a little more than "overcooked" to me. I would call that "charred!" Yikes.
