read this

I just read two fantastic books.  I downloaded Jane Eyre onto my iPad for free and thought if would be good for me to read some classics this year.  I must admit, in high school I tended to kind of glaze over those and sometimes even Cliff Notes through one or two. (hopefully my teenagers won't read this) I adored this book and had a hard time putting it down.  I don't know if guys would dig it too much though.  Read it, it is wonderful.
Yesterday I finished Unbroken, a new book by Laura Hillenbrand, author of Seabiscuit.  I don't think I've cried this much in a book since The Lone Survivor.  I knew nothing whatsoever about the book (except that it was about a WWII soldier) when I started it,  everything was a revelation to me, which is how I would suggest reading it.  Don't do research on it because it will give away the story.  Just read it.

And while I am in the business of recommending stuff, I just wanted to push my latest find.  I'm sure this probably came out 5 years ago, and I probably have had one before, but I have no recollection of that.  So that is why I am telling you to try Snickers Dark.  I enjoyed a couple of these while reading Unbroken.  I usually take about a week to eat a candy bar.  Not these.  Do yourself a favor and eat one of these bad boys.

I like your recommendations. You should label them as reading or something so when I am ready to get a new book, I can find it again.

Snickers are the best. Dark ones have been around a while. I like the Halloween candy sized one that you can pop in your mouth.

I'll have to add those books to my mile and a half long "Want to read" list.
Been addicted to the Snickers Dark for a very long time now. I'm trying to hold off on trying the new peanut butter one. I know as soon as I do I'll be in big trouble!
