Beautiful Architecture in Holland

This is so beautiful, why can't someone here build stuff like this!?  It can't be that difficult!
This is a blurry walking shot, but look how pretty this downtown Amsterdam place is?!
This is a very unflattering picture of me, but how cool is this door?  I want to paint mine this color.

This is not beautiful architecture, but how cool is this, a parking garage for bikes?  And not to get totally off topic, lets talk about bikes.  Dutch people ride bikes.  There are approximately 1.11 bikes per person, which would mean there are about 18 million bikes in the country.  This is their primary form of travel.   It doesn't matter what the temperature is, or if it is raining.  If you waited for a dry day to ride your bike, you 'd be hangin' out at home A. LOT.

I imagine this look of being totally perplexed is not uncommon here, when looking for your bike after a long day at work...

okay, back to pretty stuff

This home was down an alleyway in Amersfoort, I loved how they had their front windows decorated.
This is in the centrum in Haarlem.  The trees are pruned flat the create a screen.

Seriously, how do they keep track of their own bike? I want to go back. NOW!
Loved the cousin pics. The expressions were awesome.
